Managing Deliverables
Uploading, organizing, and versioning your files.
The Deliverables Folder
Inside every Project is the Deliverables tab. This acts like a specialized cloud drive (similar to Google Drive or Dropbox) built specifically for creative assets.
Uploading Files
To upload files:
- Open a Project and click on the Deliverables tab.
- Click Upload or simply drag and drop files directly into the browser window.
- Delivami supports bulk uploads. You can drop hundreds of photos or massive video files at once. Our upload manager will handle them in the background.
Do not close the browser tab while an upload is active. If your connection drops, Delivami will attempt to resume the upload automatically.
Organizing with Folders
Keep your workspaces tidy by using Folders.
- Click New Folder to create directories (e.g., "First Drafts", "Final Exports", "Raw Files").
- You can nest folders as deep as you need.
- Hidden Folders: You can mark a folder as
Hidden. Hidden folders are visible to you, but completely invisible to the client when they view the portal. This is great for storing raw files or working files (like.psdor.prprojfiles) that the client shouldn't see or download.
File Versioning
Clients often ask for changes. Instead of uploading Logo_Final_Final_v3.png, use Delivami's built-in version control!
- Click on any existing file.
- In the right-hand details pane, click Upload New Version.
- Select the updated file.
Delivami will stack the new file on top of the old one. The client will only see the newest version by default, but you (and the client, if permitted) can view the version history to see how the asset evolved.
Supported File Types
Delivami generates high-quality previews for:
- Images: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, TIFF, RAW formats.
- Video: MP4, MOV, WEBM. (Videos are transcoded into a web-friendly streaming format for instant playback).
- Audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC.
- Documents: PDF, DOCX, CSV.
Any unsupported file type (like .zip or 3D models) will still upload perfectly and be available for download, but they will not have an inline preview.
