Downgrading or Canceling

How to safely reduce your plan limits or pause your account.

Before You Downgrade

If you need to cut costs during a slow season, you can downgrade your plan at any time from Settings > Billing & Plan.

However, before you click downgrade, please be aware of the following data retention rules:

Storage Overages

If you are downgrading from the Studio Plan (500GB) to the Creator Plan (20GB), but you currently have 100GB of files stored in your projects, you must delete 80GB of files before the system will allow you to downgrade.

Delivami will never automatically delete your files. If you attempt to downgrade while over the target limit, the system will prompt you to clear up space first.

Make sure you have safely backed up any final deliverables to your local hard drives before deleting them from Delivami!

Premium Features

When you downgrade, you instantly lose access to premium features associated with the higher tier.

  • Custom Domains: If you downgrade to Creator, your client portals will immediately revert from portal.youragency.com back to youragency.delivami.com.
  • Team Members: If you downgrade to a tier with fewer seats, you will be asked to select which team members to deactivate. Deactivated team members cannot log in, but their historical activity logs will remain intact.

The Billing Cycle

Downgrades do not take effect immediately.

If you downgrade on the 10th of the month, but your billing cycle ends on the 30th, you will remain on your current premium plan until the 30th. You paid for the full month, so you get to use it!

On the 30th, your plan will automatically switch to the lower tier, and you will be billed the lower amount going forward.

Canceling Completely

If you wish to close your account entirely, scroll to the very bottom of the Billing & Plan page and click Cancel Subscription.

Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your workspaces will be locked, and your clients will no longer be able to access their portals or download files. We retain your data in a dormant state for 12 months before permanent deletion, allowing you to easily reactivate if you return!
