Creating a New Project

What is a Project?

In Delivami, a Project is a secure, isolated workspace dedicated to a specific gig or contract. It houses all the files, deliverables, client feedback, and invoices related to that job.

Instead of emailing zipped folders back and forth, you invite your client to a Project where they can review work, approve assets, and pay invoices all in one place.

Creating Your First Project

1. Navigate to the Projects tab in the main sidebar.
2. Click the New Project button in the top right corner.
3. Select a Client: Choose an existing client from your CRM or click Add New Client to create a profile on the fly.
4. Project Title: Give it a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Summer 2026 E-Commerce Shoot").
5. Set Defaults:
   • Require Payment Before Download: If enabled, clients can preview low-resolution versions of deliverables, but cannot download the high-res files until the attached invoice is paid in full.
   • Require Watermarks: Automatically apply your brand logo as a watermark to all uploaded image and video files.

Project Dashboards

Once created, you'll be redirected to the Project Dashboard. Here you will see:

• Deliverables: The file tree where you upload your work.
• Invoices: Any bills associated directly with this project.
• Activity Log: A timeline of every action taken in the project (e.g., "Client viewed folder", "Invoice Paid", "Asset Approved").
• Client Portal Link: The public URL you will share with your client.

Project Templates (Pro & Studio)

If you find yourself creating the same folder structures and default settings over and over, you can save a project as a Template.

To do this, click the ... menu on any existing project and select Save as Template. Next time you click New Project, you can select this template to instantly clone the folder structure and settings.
