Client Approval
How the client approval workflow works.
Overview
The approval workflow ensures clients review and approve your work before you finalize delivery. This protects both parties and ensures clear communication.

Handling Revisions
When Client Requests Revision
- You receive notification
- Review the feedback
- Make requested changes
- Upload new files
- Resend for approval
Revision Best Practices
- Acknowledge feedback - Let the client know you received it
- Ask clarifying questions - If feedback is unclear
- Make all changes at once - Minimize back-and-forth
- Explain what changed - Add notes with revisions
- Set expectations - Communicate timelines
Approval Settings
Configure approval behavior:
Require Approval
- Go to delivery settings
- Toggle Require Approval Before Download
- Client must approve before accessing files
Auto-Approve
Set auto-approval after a time period:
- Go to Settings > Workflow
- Enable Auto-Approve
- Set time period (e.g., 7 days)
- Client has this long to provide feedback
Auto-approve works well for trusted clients but may not suit all situations.
Multiple Approvers
For team decisions:
- Add multiple client emails
- Each can leave feedback
- All must approve for completion
- First approval starts the countdown
Best Practices
- Set clear expectations - Tell clients what you need from them
- Make it easy - Keep feedback simple and actionable
- Follow up - Send reminders if no response
- Document decisions - Save all feedback for reference
- Be flexible - Accommodate reasonable revision requests
